January 2015 – Present

Currently designing custom modems to be used in the communication system of a 3U Cube Satellite. Development consists of using utilities such as Xilinx Vivado and Eclipse to program a Xilinx Kintex 7 FPGA. Simulink and MATLAB are also used to streamline DSP designs.


Teaching Assistant – Intro to Analog/Digital Electronics

Assisted Professor Robert McLeod in an introductory electronics class at the University of Colorado at Boulder. As a teaching assistant, I held office hours, helped in grading, and guided students through the process of designing and building a digital clock circuit. I taught students effective methods of debugging circuits, proper use of electrical equipment, and how to design and synthesize logic circuits using simulation software. Specifically, NI Multisim and NI Ultiboard.
